Leadership Training Goals
The Leadership Institute Conference is a 7 day residential conference that applies an experiential approach to essential learning about the nature of leadership through constant focus on Authority, Roles and Tasks as well as on the Boundaries among and between these functions in groups and organizations. The primary task of the Institute is to provide opportunities to study authority and the exercise of leadership in intra-, inter-group and whole organizational settings. There will be space for 40 participants. English will be the working language, but applications from other countries and cultures are welcome. Early application encouraged.
Who Should Attend
This training model has enhanced the careers of executives, managers, administrators, consultants, supervisors, therapists, coaches, case managers, physicians, educators, human resource professionals, community leaders, clergy, counselors, and social workers, nationally and internationally, for over four decades. This is the 45th annual Group Relations educational event sponsored by the AK Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems (AKRI).

Registration Fee Structure:
The fees for this 7-day residential conference will be no higher than the fee structure for the Leadership 2007 Conference which was only 5 days in duration. The full fee will be $2900, but application before January 31 is $2300, and AKRI Associates can also claim a $150 discount. Other discounts are available to those who have attended previous LI’s, to full time students (this year up to $1000) as well as to those who come as part of a group of two or more. In addition, there will be scholarships of up to $500 for those with limited incomes such as students and those working for non-profit organizations.
