Margaret Rioch Society
In 2008, AKRI launched a new annual giving program called the Margaret Rioch Society to honor the legacy of Margaret J. Rioch, the founder of the A.K. Rice Institute. Not only was her leadership in the field of group relations inspirational for over four decades, but the bequest that she left for the A. K. Rice Institute has enabled this work to continue and allowed for the growth and evolution of the organization. Click here for a downloadable version of the information on this page.
The Margaret Rioch Society was launched during spring 2008. Participants in the program pledge to donate a specified amount each year for 5 years. These funds will go to the general operating fund of AKRI.
The Founding Members of the Margaret Rioch Society are the group of donors who join the program in the first year. This crucial group will be leading the way for many others. Through their gifts they will be contributing to the progress and social benefit of group relations and will ensure that future generations will inherit the legacy of this work. Donors can select an annual donation from the following tiers:
- BRONZE $500 to 999
- SILVER $1,000 to 2,999
- GOLD $3,000 to 5,999
- PLATINUM $6,000 to 9,999
- DIAMOND $10,000 and above
The A. K. Rice Institute is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, and donations are tax deductible to the full extent under U.S. law. We encourage donors to allow us to recognize your gift on the website and in appropriate publications.
