Why donate to AKRI
An anonymous donor who believes deeply in the value of group relations and the A.K. Rice Institute," will match, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, the dues paid by former AKRI members who rejoin between now and December 31, 2009. The donor will also match at a 2:1 ratio the dues paid by first-time members of AKRI, also up to $5,000. Our hope is this will result in an extra $20,000 and 38 more members in the next 6 months.

The A.K. Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, and relies on the support of its associate and affiliate dues and the net proceeds from the leadership institute and other programs for its operating funds. A donation to AKRI can be made to support the general operating fund, or be targeted specifically to the scholarship fund. You can also become a member of the Margaret Rioch Society by committing to an annual pledge for a five year period, in honor of the founder of the A.K. Rice Institute. The generosity of our donors helps provide for the long-term stability of AKRI and also supports individual learning opportunities through scholarships that enable participation in group relations events.

- 80% growth in attendance for the annual Leadership Institute
- initiatives to create additional group relations programs
